Class Statistics and an official welcome to Blackboard

Have you heard about Blackboard's newest venture?  They call it Project NG...

haiku LMS 3.0 Is Here!

Once in a while a great idea merges with excellent execution.  Even less often the result actually has a positive impact.  This is one of those times.  I was showing our newest feature to the instructional technologist from a large marketing company the other day and he used more superlatives in those ten minutes than I've heard in a long time.  Check it out for yourself and tell me if you don't immediately think of a dozen ways that Embed the Web™ could make your life as an educator easier

haiku LMS has revolutionized my teaching.

My haiku LMS learning systems course sites are great tools for organizing resources for a class and making them available to all students. When I or one of my students loses a document, there’s an easy way to find it: on the haiku LMS course site. When we move from one unit to another in a theme-based course, the students visiting the site are reminded of how the various units connect to one another.

I cannot tell you how excited I am about Haiku!! It is absolutely the best thing to happen for k-12 education in a very long time. Each time I introduce Haiku to another teacher they, too, get that excitement. The words Easy, Fun and Awesome are just a few terms which are used over and over.

Harmony. Simplicity. Community
