Blog CategoriesUpgrade News

Dear Reader,
We have a little problem at Haiku World HQ.  It seems we're always too busy working on new features and upgrades to take the time to communicate about these exciting developments.

However, we want to develop a transparent and lively community.  At the very least, we want our blog readers to see just what we're up to, and (hopefully) participate with questions and feedback.  Even though it won't always come out as a polished press release, we do want to share our trials and accomplishments weekly.

And so, without further adieu, here's what we've been up to:

  • Many updates related to our forthcoming Blackboard-compatible question library.  We can now associate questions with grade levels, subjects, and custom tags.  We are particularly proud of this new, snazzy, and soon-to-be released interface.
  • Questions from the library can be easily added to exams.
  • Finalized the on-page look of our upcoming "social media" strategy.  While we can't divulge the details just yet, it is looking awesome!
  • Successfully wrestled with Internet Explorer 6 (ah! IE6 and its javascript implementation) and its indecipherable javascript error messages.
  • We proudly contributed back to several open source projects that we use (after an admittedly frustrating search through the paltry documentation).

As always, if you have a suggestion on what features we should be adding next to Haiku, don't forget about our UserVoice suggestion service.

'Til next week-
Bryan, Marcos and Reynard
